It is snowing. I love it. I never want it to stop. It's one of my favourite sensations in the world, and I am always disappointed when it comes to an end. So, snow, just don't stop.

"If growing up means it would be beneath my dignity to climb a tree, I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up! Not me!"

Oh, Peter. I wish I was you.

I'm swiftly approaching my 200th post. Any suggestions for this milestone-like undertaking? All will be read, and most will be dismissed, so make it good.

Whoop! Isn't it amazing! Has it ever snowed this close to christmas before? I love it.

Maybe you should have a chat with Jon, he seems to believe he is Peter Pan. Or something like it.

I can't ever remember it snowing in December, to be honest. But then, I'm only a mere whippersnapper!

You should write a post that is 200 words long, no more, no less and because of my terribly giving nature I'll let you decide the topic of those 200 words.

Or you could just list 200 things you like in no particular order.

And snow is amazing init (couldn't resist that!)

Ah, now us balding (balding?? Get real, Phil: you're way past that!!) oldies in our fast fading forties, we remember when there was white Christmases every year and we'd be out there building snowmen and having snowball fights like there was no tomorrow ... but tomorrow came and the white Christmases went to be replaced by bits of polywotsit packaging in boxes of books and it was like Christmas every day... except opening the boxes was a job, not a thrill, coz wot woz in them woz alwayz for someone else ... then along came global warming and the snow melted and the books faded and the bananas peeled themselves...

Yep: that's it: make your 200th post a Global Warming Festive Snowman Special! And resurrect that skateboard, before you too grow old and faded...

Christmas day, and here in Bedfordshire the snow is melting away ... leaving the detritus of our human churning and trampling behind... it was all so pretty before we started driving and walking all over it...

Anyway, wanted to stop by and wish you a happy Christmas: hope it's been a good one for you; and that the year ahead brings you everything you're hoping for.
